Welcome to the Black Rooster Lounge & Gallery!

The Black Rooster Lounge & Gallery gets its name from an artistic tile motif in the floor of the General Francis Marion Hotel’s famous card room depicting a rooster. The card room and tile motif date from 1928, when the hotel was constructed. The Gallery is located on the ground floor of the newly renovated General Francis Marion Hotel in downtown Marion, Virginia.
With colorful art all around, it would be hard not to enjoy a glass of fine wine, a cold brew on tap, or a tasty appetizer whipped up by Executive Chef Marcus A. Blackstone and his staff! The Black Rooster, just across the Hotel lobby from our restaurant, is a gathering place for locals and hotel guests alike.
